A busy week since the last entry — some of it you can use today, and some of it is still on the workbench.
The quiet one first, because it's the one I care about most. Our readings now draw on considerably more of the sky than they did a week ago — more of the chart makes it into every reading, the chart wheels show more of what's actually going on, and each reading gets an extra editorial pass before it reaches you. Same readers, same warmth — just more substance behind every paragraph. You won't see a new button for any of this; you'll simply notice the readings know more.
Three new kinds of reading joined the family: the Solar Return (your astrological year ahead, cast from the moment the Sun comes home to where it was when you were born), the Lunar Return (the month ahead, same idea, faster cycle), and Solar Arc directions (a slow, dignified technique for the big chapters of a life). And a little thank-you: Premium and Ultimate subscribers now get their Solar Return automatically on their birthday — voiced and delivered to your inbox, as a gift.
When I last wrote, the Learning section had two guides about conjunctions. A week later it has nearly fifty — from the basics through to horary, solar arcs, planetary hours and corners of the craft I'd never heard of until I went looking. Every guide is in English and French, every one has spoken audio, and the player at the top of the Learning page will read you the whole course start to finish — a little free astrology audiobook, in effect. As ever, I write these as someone always learning: a warm way in, not the last word.
There's a new Almanac page — the day's planetary hours, sunrise and sunset, and where the Moon is, for wherever you are. Start typing your city, pick it once, and it remembers. A light, traditional way to time the small things — with a Learning guide to match, naturally.
The pricing page had a proper going-over. Most readings now come in packs of 3, 5 or 10, with the price per reading dropping as the pack grows — bundles too. And relationship and compatibility readings finally have their own clear section, so you can see what's what without digging.
The bit I'm most excited about is the bit I can't hand you yet. An Android version of Soundbath is in the works — Apple had it first, but not for much longer. And we're deep into an Occultique app for iPhone: your readings offline wherever you are, keeping track of what you've read and listened to, a proper built-in audio player with a queue — controllable from your lock screen like any other audio — and, if you want it, a notification the moment a new reading is ready for you. It already works; we're now at the fussy stage of polishing corners until it feels right. Not long now.
As for me — my own weekly reading told me to prepare rather than launch: with Mercury reversing through Cancer until mid-July, script things, keep the tricky conversations in drafts, and favour foundations over fireworks. Given that this week's biggest work is two apps still on the workbench, I'd say the sky and the roadmap are in rare agreement. Thank you, as always, for being here. There's more on the way. 🔮
